Well Cat basically i used Cinema4D for the 3D model, VRay (for Cinema4D) for the final render and photoshop to retouche and remake some of the textures. ;)

wow hold up, the DMC4 renders were made from models and textures from the game, the process consist in turning the model from low-poly into high-poly and retouching the textures and the uv maps.. and because this is not 100% my work i consider it fan-art, so.. the renders can be used by anyone like it says here [link] this is some of the work done with one of the renders [link]
so the process took 1-2 weeks per models and 1 hour of render ;)
